Through out all of the emotions of finding out Mason was going to need some extra special attention, through the 'why me's' and the 'we don't deserves', a friend of mine told me something that will stick with me forever and ever. She said "This isn't because you deserve this situation, it's because Mason deserves to have parents like you" We will love him to the ends of the earth as we watch our miracle unfold before our eyes, and grow to be an amazing and beautiful person inside and out.
My son,Mason, was diagnosed with ONH(optic nerve hypoplasia)at 5 months. ?ONH? Underdeveloped optic nerves, resulting in impaired to no vision, and possible hormone deficiencies, developmental delay, and brain malformations I want to create awareness and support for him,& all other children and their loved ones. Never forget to always be positive, never lose hope, there is always a BRIGHT SIDE,& where there is love there is life.

THANK YOU
Some days are really hard. When I feel like I have had enough & I feel like giving up, I remember what I am fighting for & I just want to give more, thank you God for the strength to fight, because without you I could not keep standing back up & fighting harder. My sweet, amazing, perfect for me, full of love baby boy is something I CANNOT give up on...EVER. Thanks God for filling my heart with strength and love.
