My son,Mason, was diagnosed with ONH(optic nerve hypoplasia)at 5 months. ?ONH? Underdeveloped optic nerves, resulting in impaired to no vision, and possible hormone deficiencies, developmental delay, and brain malformations I want to create awareness and support for him,& all other children and their loved ones. Never forget to always be positive, never lose hope, there is always a BRIGHT SIDE,& where there is love there is life.

Things are happening!
Finally, we're seeing some light! Mason will start physical therapy and his infant program sometime next week, I can't wait! I know he is going to do so great! I've been doing my own exercises with Mas at home, and have already noticed big improvements! Besides all of that, I swear Mason sees something! He's been squinting in the sun, and he's been responding more to certain toys with lights and color. I believe he sees peripherally best. Any way only time will tell. We are meeting with an opthamalogist through the Blind Center tomorrow. I can't wait to hear what she has to say. Mason's neck is getting incredibly stronger. My goals in the next 2 months, I would love to see him rolling and pushing up with his arms, and most of all sitting straight on his own.
