Mason has started physical therapy and occupational therapy. OT is going great!! I love his therapist! Aside from her being so great, I have been working with Mas day and night, and we are noticing big differences! His neck is getting so much stronger, he's sitting better..longer and straighter, he is doing so much better in tummy time, and it's just so encouraging to see these little changes little by little. Our big goals are to get him rolling and reaching, sitting on his own, pushing on his arms, and crawling<<that's the big one. The OT room is great, Mason is loving the swings and he is really trying to roll, he wants to get moving, you can see it!
PT wasn't so great..Mas hated it, every minute, until we left..they're just a little less calming and a little more intense. We only had one session, so we'll see how this week goes. I am very grateful we were approved for 2 sessions a week.
Aside from that, Mason is loving his Mommy and Me group.. he usually has a grumpy spell somewhere in the hour, but I believe a lot of it is him being over stimulated, he smiles and laughs through most of it. Every week at his school, they comment on how much he has changed and grown.
Now Mason is sitting in his high chair on his own, he holds his head up high, and he doesn't sink down into it anymore.
Mason has been taking his naps on his tummy, and I believe that is really helping him to be comfortable staying on his tummy.
He's been sick the last couple days, so we've had a mellow week. It's been a nice break for us.
I love every inch of my little man more than I could have ever imagined!
